New Travelogue: Plants of the Olympic Peninsula

I have just added a new page to the ‘Travelogue’ section.  Since it is not from just one trip, it is really more of a gallery showing some interesting native plants from the Olympic Peninsula.  A number of broadleaf evergreens, alpine plants and succulents are shown.  I have never seen pictures on the web of the Hood Canal population of “Washington’s other broadleaf evergreen tree”, Chrysolepis chrysophylla, so here it is!  I hope this page will show that it is not just exotic and subtropical plants that make unusual garden subjects appropriate to the theme of ‘the Desert Northwest’. Enjoy!
